A business trip and a day out in Heidelberg

After the initial frustration, I realised that it was a perfect opportunity to exercise my sketching skills, so I took out my sketchbook and made an attempt at drawing the cabin.

Overcoming Resistance with a new painting

Rainy street

It's been a few months since I've picked up my brushes, so I decided it was time for a new session. As always after such a long break, I could feel the resistance: the background voice in my head whispering all the reasons why I shouldn't bother setting up my painting desk.

It's funny how our minds work against us, especially when it comes to the things we crave, the things that should bring us joy and fulfillment.

My parents adopted him a long time ago when they found this stubborn stray puppy breaking into their garden for the third time. It was a good match – they didn't have a dog at the time, and he was looking for an owner.
